Okay, so I've decided to start this thing where I make my own comments about the food I eat and where. It could be restaurant food, a new candy bar or something made at home. Remember, the comments I make are my personal comments.

THE DISH: Fettuccini Alfredo pasta with grilled chicken

WHERE: The Revolving Restaurant 360, Saipan CNMI

FOOD PRESENTATION: 5

TASTE: 7

THE REVIEW:

The fettuccini was al dente, and the sauce was pretty good with the exception of it being a bit too salty! The garlic toast that came with the dish wasn't too great. The bread was drenched in butter and was more bread than "toast". I wasn't even sure if the bread was toasted to begin with.

THE DISH: Baked Scallop Sushi

WHERE: Shinsen Rotary Sushi, Saipan CNMI

FOOD PRESENTATION: 9

TASTE: 9

THE REVIEW:

The scallops were mixed in this "chef's secret sauce" and then baked and then torched. The sushi roll was wrapped with black nori (seaweed) and the items in the sushi was fresh avocado and crunchy cucumber. The topping was the baked scallops mix and the decor on the plate was actual sauces that you could eat together with the sushi. The baked scallops were delicious and the hint of hot sauce added to the sushi made it pop in your mouth! In the words of Rachel Ray: YUM-O!!!
